Delivering Safer, Warmer Homes for Enfield Council with FIRETITE

As part of Enfield Council’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of its housing stock, reducing energy consumption and supporting resident wellbeing, Site Sealants was appointed to carry out cavity wall insulation works at Rutland Court and Rendlesham Road in Enfield.

Working in partnership with ECON Building Products, Site Sealants installed FIRETITE Clay Foam Insulation across the properties. As an accredited contractor, the team delivered a durable, future-focused insulation solution designed to improve resident comfort, enhance energy efficiency and provide long-term protection for the Council’s housing assets.

Following a detailed assessment of the available insulation options, Enfield Council and its appointed consultants selected FIRETITE Clay Foam Insulation as the preferred solution for the project.

Site Sealants successfully installed FIRETITE Aerated Clay Foam into the previously unfilled cavities at both Rutland Court and Rendlesham Road.

FIRETITE is a clay mineral-based cavity wall insulation system developed for both new-build and retrofit masonry applications. Its hydrophobic yet vapour-permeable properties allow it to respond to changing environmental conditions while enabling unwanted moisture vapour to escape from the cavity.

This helps reduce the risk of damp and mould, supports a healthier indoor environment and provides reliable thermal performance throughout the life of the building.
